How much does a visit to the out-of-hours GP service cost?

Every contact with the Gorinchem GP Post costs money. We also have to charge for a telephone consultation. The basic insurance covers the costs of the GP and contact with the out-of-hours GP service. It does not deduct from your deductible.

Are you insured? Then the bill will go directly to your health insurer.
Are you not insured or are you unable to identify yourself? Then you pay the costs of the consultation directly when you visit the Gorinchem GP Post. You can pay by debit card. After that, you will receive a proof of payment. You can then submit this to your health insurer yourself.

The rates from 1 October 2023 are:

• € 35,00 : Telephone consultation by the doctor’s assistant/triagist.
  
• € 150,56 : A visit to the out-of-hours GP service or telephone consultation by the GP.
  
• € 225,84: Home visit by the GP.
  

These amounts have been determined by the Dutch Healthcare Authority .
