The chat app is available on Monday-Friday from 17:00 to 20:00 and on weekends from 9:00 to 20:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#eff9fd\"><strong>Please note!<\/strong> Are you pregnant or do you have a question about a child under 3 months? In life-threatening situations, always call 112.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Medical advice from a triage nurse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you call or chat, you speak to a triagist. He\/she is medically trained to assess whether (and how quickly) a GP should examine you at the General Practitioner. The triage nurse always works together with a general practitioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We prefer to speak to the patient himself. Are you calling for someone else? Then make sure you stay close to the patient and have his\/her details at hand. Think of name, address and date of birth, BSN, name of your own GP and any medication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sharing your data with us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">General practitioners alternate their shifts at Dokterswacht. That is why there is a good chance that you will be helped by a different GP than you are used to.&nbsp;It is useful for that GP to have access to your patient data, so that they can quickly know how your health is. <strong>But that is only possible if you have given permission for it.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.volgjezorg.nl\/toestemming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">To do this, go to the website ikgeeftoestemming.nl<\/a>&nbsp;or discuss it with your own doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Information to your own doctor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We register every medical request for help. We will let your doctor know that you have been in contact with us. We inform him\/her what is going on and how we helped. Your doctor will add this to your medical file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visit to the General Practitioner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your appointment time is a target time. Patients who need care more urgently always come first.
